With the new A-League Men’s season around the corner, clubs across the country are making big moves in the transfer market. From fan favourites returning to shock exits and international stars arriving, the 2025/26 campaign is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in years.

Adelaide United

The Reds headline their transfer activity with the return of Craig Goodwin, alongside new additions like Juan Muñiz and Anselmo de Moraes. However, it’s the end of an era with veterans Isaías and Javi Lopez both retiring.

Auckland FC

Auckland have been busy, bringing in Scott Morris, Lachlan Brook and goalkeeper Oli Sail, while Max Mata and Alex Paulsen return to their parent clubs.

Brisbane Roar

The Roar mix youth and experience with signings such as James McGarry, Dean Bouzanis and Michael Ruhs. Departures include Florin Berenguer and club stalwart Jack Hingert.

Central Coast Mariners

The Mariners strengthen their backline with Andrew Redmayne and James Donachie, but bid farewell to Brian Kaltak and striker Alou Kuol.

Macarthur FC

The Bulls make a splash, signing Anthony Caceres from Sydney FC and South Korean international Ji Dong-won, alongside defender Damien Da Silva.

Melbourne City

City refresh their squad with Takeshi Kanamori and Elbasan Rashani, though they lose Steven Ugarkovic and see Marco Tilio return to Europe.

Melbourne Victory

Victory add midfield depth with Louis D’Arrigo, Denis Genreau and Keegan Jelacic, but part ways with Daniel Arzani and Ryan Teague.

Newcastle Jets

The Jets secure Max Burgess and Alex Badolato, while saying goodbye to Dane Ingham and goalkeeper Ryan Scott.

Perth Glory

Over west, Glory bolster their squad with Mark Birighitti in goal and Brian Kaltak back in defence. Departures include Jaylan Pearman and Joel Anasmo.

Sydney FC

The Sky Blues go global, adding Peruvian midfielder Piero Quispe on loan and French defender Marcel Tisserand. But they lose key man Anthony Caceres to Macarthur, while Douglas Costa also departs.

Wellington Phoenix

The Nix bring in Carlo Armiento, Nikola Mileusnic and Canadian defender Manjrekar James, but lose club legend Kosta Barbarouses and Stefan Colakovski.

Western Sydney Wanderers

The Wanderers pull off a coup, signing Kosta Barbarouses from Wellington, along with Steven Ugarkovic and Angus Thurgate. Outgoing players include Marcus Antonsson and Nicolas Milanovic.
