At just 18 years old, Thomas Alexander Petrovski has already carved out a name for himself in Australian and European football. The Rockdale-born forward, who began his career in the NSW SAP program before progressing through the NPL youth system, is proving that determination and hard work can open doors both at home and abroad.

Petrovski’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

In 2022, he moved to the United Kingdom to join the Brooke House Football Academy, before earning a trial with Italian club S.S Turris Calcio (Serie C). His time in Italy saw him feature for the Primavera U19 side, scoring four goals in 12 matches, an experience that gave him invaluable exposure to European football.


Back in Sydney, Petrovski rejoined Rockdale Ilinden FC, where he was part of the squad that claimed the 2024 NPL U20 Championship. His contributions throughout the season added depth and quality to a side that went on to secure the title. Earlier this year, he also impressed at the Maso Cup 2025, scoring important goals on the way to Rockdale’s emphatic 4-0 victory in the final.


On the international stage, Petrovski has been recognised by his heritage nation, having represented North Macedonia at U16 and U17 training camps, an experience that broadened his footballing education and showcased his potential at a higher level.

Off the field, Petrovski has become a familiar voice for local football fans through his work with 90.1 FM Kogarah's football coverage, where he shares insights and reports on the game. His involvement in community media reflects the same passion and dedication he brings to his football, helping him inspire the next generation while staying connected to his roots.

With his eyes set firmly on a long professional career, Petrovski remains grounded in his heritage and religion and driven by a clear motto: “Bog sekogas ke te čuva” – “God will always protect you.”
