Have you heard of physical culture or physie as it is known? It’s been around for years and is undergoing a resurgence at the moment. Lia spoke to a local icon in the physie world just recently and what she has to say will encourage you to think about taking up, or returning to, this activity. Her name is Nola Hellyer and she is just about to undertake her 64th year teaching at Mortdale Physical /culture Club. Nola was an absolute joy to interview. She is a lady held in great esteem by her club and is affectionately known as Auntie Nola. Many thanks Nola for chatting with Lia. It was a fun chat about physie. Why don't you give it a go?
