Before the COVID lockdowns, some of us were already living in a state of social isolation… Some called it an epidemic and “one of the greatest public health challenges of our time” Loneliness. A condition both complex and unique to each individual, with no single common cause, and harmful to both our physical and mental health.
Welcome to Only the Lonely, a community audio-arts project about loneliness and social isolation, and their flip side, friendship and connection. Funded by Georges River Council and Multicultural NSW, the project was produced by PP Cranney for 90.1 NBC FM.
