The Auburn Police Area Command covers around fifteen suburbs and has a highly multicultural community. Within this command alone, there are approximately 130 different cultural backgrounds, many of which are from non-English-speaking backgrounds. The initiative aims to encourage people whose first language is not English to come forward and seek help for issues such as domestic violence, mental health concerns, financial difficulties, and a wide range of other problems that they may face, which they would not ordinarily have the ability to seek help for on their own.
